Saher Alghorra

Alghorra was born in 1997 in Gaza City, Palestine. He attended university, where he graduated with a degree in public relations, media, and photography. Since then, he has highlighted his interests and passion, because he got his first camera in 2017, which he provided to him. He encouraged her during the period of beginning his studies, and set out to document adventures and his daily life.
And the beauty of his city, until the wars changed, his orientation in narrating the beauty and his life in Gaza changed to narrating the destruction that befell his city in order to convey what was happening to the outside world.
He began his work as a photojournalist in 2021 with many international agencies and institutions as a freelance photojournalist, and his work began to spread in international newspapers and agencies such as the British newspaper The Guardian, Time magazine, The Telegraph, etc., etc.
In 2023, his photo was chosen as one of the 100 best photos of the year, according to the American magazine Time.
