Loay Ayyoub

Loay Ayyoub is a freelance photographer based in Gaza. He graduated from Al-Azhar University, in Media, Journalism and Public Relations in 2017. He started working for The Washington Post as a freelancer in 2019 and has been covering the recent conflict non-stop for the newspaper since October 7. He has also worked for The Guardian and NPR in the past.
